This page explains what happens to the information you send me through this site. It is written plainly rather than legally, and it covers the enquiry form and nothing else.

Who handles your information

I do. I am Nia Gain, an individual creator working under the name niagaine, and I am the data controller for anything submitted here. For anything about your data, write to legal (at) niagain.uk.

What I collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form:

• your brand name and email address
• your website or social handle, if you give one
• what you are promoting, the formats you want, your timeline and budget range
• anything you write in the message field

There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no tracking cookie on this site.

Why I collect it

To read your enquiry and reply to it. My lawful basis is legitimate interests: you contacted me about working together, and I need your details to answer. If we go on to work together, I keep the correspondence as a record of the arrangement.

I do not sell your details, share them with other brands, or add you to a mailing list.

Where it goes

The form is handled by Formspree, a service run by Formspree Inc. in the United States. Your submission is stored on their servers and forwarded to my inbox, which is hosted by Apple as part of iCloud Mail. Both of these mean your information leaves the UK. Formspree and Apple each publish their own privacy terms covering how they protect it.

The form is also protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you are a person rather than a bot. It runs only once you open the form, and Cloudflare sees your IP address and some basic browser information while it does. It sets no tracking cookie.

Nothing else about your visit leaves this site. The typefaces are served from niagain.uk itself rather than from Google, and no other third party is involved.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. If we do work together, I keep the correspondence for six years, which is the normal period for business records.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask me to show you what I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Write to legal (at) niagain.uk and I will do it within a month, usually much sooner.

If you think I have handled your information badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. I would rather you told me first so I can fix it.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
